I am
Sokhom Prins, born in Cambodia in 1970, survivor of civil war & genocides,
now living (surviving is more like it) in Australia.
Now that I have travelled the world, I have fulfilled
my ambition to write a memoir that will be inspirational, especially to women
of the world! This memoir is called “Love of Life - My Story”. It is my first
book.
This
BLOG is to promote my first book, and create a platform for my coming next
book, “THE FOOD OF LOVE”. It is still in progress. One extract is provided. A lot of
it derives from my life experience, as contained in my first book, the memoir,
soon to be published:

The food of love - My next book
My autobiography would not be complete without a digression into
food, yummy food. Doctor says I’m an international chef - not only can I cook
great dishes, I love cooking. Food cooked with love, has the best taste. One of
my next books will be a combination of a cook book (with all my own recipes),
with sections on healthy living, eating, love, inspiration, star signs, how to
overcome problems in life – like I did. And I am still doing!
It will highlight: Asian food (East) is healthier than Western food.
It will show how one must discover and utilize one’s inner
strengths, and take notice of the positive indications in one’s zodiac signs.
I’m fussy about the foods I like. I love Chinese, Indian, French,
Italian, English (but only fish & chips), some German, but no Spanish. I love
to eat Thai (my favourite after Cambodian) and Malaysian. I did not like
Indonesian, and hated Philippine food – couldn’t even swallow it.
When it came Russian or East European food – Ugh! All fat and potatoes – you won’t live long on
a diet of this. I don’t like Arab food; southern European and Mediterranean
food can be tasty. I was getting hungry, typing about all this food. Quick, to
the kitchen – start cooking – see my tasty dishes on display.
Anyway, we both love food – I suppose most people do. Food, not
music, is the food of love and passion.
